Saturday the 22nd of october sees the annual (or is it anal?) dub day afternoon at the step inn in the valley. No doubt there’ll be all types of perverts and dodgy characters skulking about the darkened corridors. The bouncers presence there is abhorent. They outnumber over charged patrons by 2 to 1. Never have i seen such a mini police state in a venue before. If it wasn’t for Fyah Walk playing there all would be lost. They have great rhythms, but there singer sucks big time. He’s far too over the top. Every note he sings has got to be mariah careyesque. With more stuck up fags than you can poke a stick at. Along with poor acts, your better off saving $15 and staying at home listening to your fav reggae cd.
Dennis Brown:
The Best of Dennis Brown: The Niney Years, Released 11/04/2008
When Niney released Dennis Brown’s “Westbound Train” he was already one of the top producers in Jamaica. He had scored with his own “Blood and Fire” which was song of the year in 1972, and was producing and arranging for both Bunny Lee and Joe Gibbs. But it was his work with Dennis Brown that would catapult both he and Dennis truly into the limelight.
This collection follows Dennis Brown’s career from the mid-Seventies straight to the early Nineties just before his untimely death at age 42. The eighteen Niney-produced tracks are true Reggae classics and most are collected here together for the first time. With hits, rare tracks, and some previously unreleased versions, this is a perfect view of Dennis Brown’s career.

At this time of electoral bliss in babylon central have you asked yourself that age old question…..?
What are you gonna do on judgement day? Will you take shelter in the arms and bosoms of the hore of babylon? Make no mistake, if you are in the west you are in her condemned arms right now! Or are you gonna run to the saviour at the last minute or second? Will you sow your deceit for longer or repent before no chance of rescue is possible?
Ignore these questions at your peril! Those on certain reggae sites should ponder this while they get their fill of bliss. Please comtemplate, take heed. For these are the last days of rome. This warning is for the heathen and for the righteous. Turn your heart to that of an Israelite before it is too late.

Greetings All Rasta’s living in Australia!
Ethiopia’s prime minister and rastainoz sets the story strait.
One of the major obstacles holding back the Ethiopian tourist industry is the way the out side press has over the years painted Ethiopia in one color since Live Aid. It may have brought some good at the time but has proved to be a curse to Ethiopia development.
You take the high road and I will take the low road:
In Ethiopia’s very long past you had the high land people and the low land people, The high land people were the traditional rulers of Ethiopia and because they lived in the high lands where it is colder they also had the benefits of a healthier life style with no malaria carrying misquotes and water bore bacteria’s that live in the warmer low land regions of Ethiopia.
In your time of trouble Rasta, who you gonna turn to?
You will want for the Lord Jah Rastafari to protect you, will he be there for you……?
As babylon the scourge of the Rastafarian seeps ever deeper into the psychi. As more and more of the Rastas humble living is usurped by the distrations of ego and modern life, what will become of Jah’s chosen few.
In this hustle and bustle of modern life it appears some rasta’s have lost their way.

The CD’s are split down the middle, the first one featuring Ska to early Reggae and the second 70’s sounds. The release has it’s fair share of fairly obvious tunes as is usual in this kind of release but there are some less well known titles thrown in too.

The `12” Inch Rulers’ series concentrates on those classic 12” singles that Greensleeves have released over the years and that record collectors remember so fondly - and of which, many have never appeared on CD. The previous three `12” Inch Rulers’ releases featured Henry “Junjo” Lawes, Gussie Clarke and Jah Thomas. This release concentrates on the works of legendary producer and singer Linval Thompson.
The fact that Rastas love Ethiopia seems to make Ethiopians very happy, and thousands have come to live here and many more coming everyday

In OZ you will find all colours of dreads in reggae, you have purple dreads, and green dreads, and some colours I am not sure of. Dreads don’t only belong to Rasta’s anymore or even the the name Rastafari as their’s a hard rock band called, ‘Rastafarian Stage Divers’ to lesbian reggae bands and a band with a transvestite who is half dread and half women, I mean the hair styes as he turned his head side to side on stage.
